Job summary

The Sebel Silverwoods Yarrawonga is seeking a diligent Night Audit to ensure accurate financial transactions and exceptional guest service during the overnight shift. You will handle end-of-day procedures, reconciliations and provide information to guests to enhance their experience.

Strong communication, computer proficiency and the ability to work independently are essential. Prior hospitality experience and a detail-oriented approach will help you excel in this vital role within our guest

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Sound knowledge of accounting methodology and its application to end of day operations in a hotel operation.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to go above and beyond to deliver a memorable guest service experience.
• Intermediate proficiency in computer systems, Microsoft Office and ability to quickly learn and use business systems relevant to the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient, friendly and professional services to all guests; lead by example when attending to guest requests by constantly striving to provide Total Customer Satisfaction.
• Assist guests with their overnight requests and process any late-night check-ins and check-outs from the hotel, accept overnight reservation requests and process payments.
• Undertake end-of-day bookkeeping, auditing and account reconciliation; run EOD computer functions so they are complete by the end of the shift.
• Ensure safety and security requirements are being met and coordinate with other staff members and departments to ensure guest needs are met.
• Be a source of information to guests on matters such as transport, activities/places of interest and restaurant advice.
