Job summary

Patch Agency, Brisbane CBD, is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new business and build lasting client partnerships. This role focuses on developing a strong sales pipeline, winning opportunities, and collaborating with a small, ambitious team of creatives and marketers.

You will own the end-to-end process from prospecting to closing, with direct access to the Director and a path to influence how Patch approaches growth across Google Ads, SEO, email marketing and content services.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development or B2B sales, with a strong track record of generating and closing new business.
• Experience in a digital marketing, advertising, media or creative agency, with a solid understanding of the services offered.
• Strong outbound prospecting and lead generation experience, with the ability to build your own pipeline.

Responsibilities

• Proactively generate new business through outbound prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals and strategic partnerships.
• Identify and pursue opportunities with businesses that could benefit from Patch’s creative and digital marketing services.
• Develop new business development strategies and initiatives to build a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
• Build strong relationships with business owners, marketing managers and key decision-makers.
• Lead discovery meetings with prospective clients, uncovering their business needs and identifying opportunities for Patch’s services.
• Deliver engaging sales pitches and presentations that showcase Patch’s capabilities and demonstrate the value we can bring to prospective clients.
• Work alongside our Director on larger pitches and high-value new business opportunities.
• Drive the sales process through negotiation and closing, turning prospective clients into long-term partnerships.
• Take ownership of your sales pipeline, new client acquisition and revenue targets.
• Explore new tools, AI and automation to make our business development processes smarter and more effective.
