Job summary

Our Town Fencing in Heatherbrae is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to win new business, grow our customer base and drive sales across NSW and beyond.

This hands-on, autonomous sales role focuses on identifying prospects, visiting sites, developing opportunities and converting them into sales, while managing your own pipeline to meet monthly targets. Regular travel across NSW and into Queensland is required.

Qualifications

• Proven success in prospecting and winning new customers.
• Strong track record of achieving sales targets.
• Confidence approaching prospective customers and developing new relationships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Ability to plan travel efficiently and manage a field territory.
• Willingness to travel across NSW and into Queensland when required.
• Current Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Identify prospective customers and win new trade and commercial accounts.
• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of opportunities.
• Achieve monthly sales and revenue targets.
• Secure a minimum of 3 new customers per month.
• Conduct regular face-to-face customer visits and site visits.
• Prepare quotes and follow up opportunities to close sales.
• Develop long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Understand our fencing products and market dynamics.
• Monitor competitor activity and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activity and customer interactions.
