Job summary

Adaptalift Group in Sydney seeks a New Business Development Manager to identify and secure profitable new business opportunities for truck and trailer rentals. The role is in-market, focused on developing relationships and converting activity into rental growth, with the office based in Seven Hills.

You will prospect actively, build relationships and work with internal teams and dealer networks to support customer enquiries, quotes and rental activity.

New Business Development Manager - Truck Fleet Sales

About The Role

Our Sydney team are looking for the next big hitter. Our office is based in Seven Hills however this is a on-road role focused on identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities for truck and trailer rentals.

You will spend your time in market with customers, developing relationships, opening new opportunities and converting activity into rental growth.

• Prospect, cold call and develop new business across transport, truck, trailer, hire, sales and service markets.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, with a focus on converting activity into transactions.
• Identify opportunities to increase fleet utilisation and place more stock on hire.
• Convert one-off customers into regular repeat customers through consistent follow-up.
• Work with internal teams and dealer networks to support customer enquiries, quotes, proposals and rental activity.

About You

You are an experienced, commercially focused BDM who is confident prospecting, following up and building business from the ground up. To be successful in the role, you will have:

• Strong background in new business development & sales.
• Experience in the transport, transport, logistics or fleet markets.
