Job summary

Adaptalift Group in Sydney seeks a New Business Development Manager to identify and secure profitable new business opportunities for truck and trailer rentals. The role is in-market, focused on developing relationships and converting activity into rental growth, with the office based in Seven Hills.

You will prospect actively, build relationships and work with internal teams and dealer networks to support customer enquiries, quotes and rental activity.

Qualifications

• Strong background in new business development and sales.
• Experience in the transport, logistics or fleet markets.
• Confident cold calling, prospecting and opening new conversations with customers.
• Resilient, self-driven and comfortable handling rejection.
• Strong relationship builder who converts activity into transactions.
• Commercially motivated with a focus on utilisation, revenue and repeat customers.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, cold call and develop new business across transport, truck, trailer, hire, sales and service markets.
• Build relationships with new and existing customers, converting activity into transactions.
• Identify opportunities to increase fleet utilisation and place more stock on hire.
• Convert one-off customers into regular repeat customers through follow-up.
• Collaborate with internal teams and dealer networks to support customer enquiries, quotes and rental activity.
