The Royal Melbourne Hospital in Parkville is seeking a receptionist to support Neurology outpatient clinics with welcoming patients, managing bookings and enquiries, and liaising with medical staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Ideal candidates will have experience in medical reception, excellent communication, confidentiality, and the ability to work both in a team and autonomously within a busy hospital environment.

Formación

• Experience in medical reception is essential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Experience in hospital environment preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a welcoming and courteous reception service for patients attending Neurology outpatient clinics.
• Manage patient bookings, answer calls and respond to patient enquiries.
• Liaise with consultants, fellows, junior doctors and nursing staff to support the smooth running of outpatient clinics.
• Perform a range of reception and administrative duties to support the daily operations of the Neurology department.
