Job summary

The Royal Melbourne Hospital’s Neurology Department is seeking a passionate Neurology Outpatient Clinic Coordinator to support daily clinic operations and patient services. In this role you will welcome patients, manage bookings and enquiries, liaise with clinicians and nursing staff, and perform reception and administration duties across Neurology outpatient clinics.

Role offers flexible hours (FT or PT), salary packaging benefits, and the Parkville precinct location with access to transport

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience in medical reception or clinic administration.
• Patient-focused service delivery.
• Ability to work in a team and autonomously.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient and department matters.

Responsibilities

• Provide welcoming, courteous reception for Neurology outpatient clinics.
• Manage patient bookings, answer calls, and respond to enquiries.
• Liaise with consultants, fellows, junior doctors and nursing staff to support outpatient clinics.
• Perform reception and administrative duties to support daily operations.
