YMCA South Australia seeks a Practice Coordinator to oversee reception and operations across multiple allied health sites, ensuring seamless patient flow and high service standards. The role includes training reception staff, managing practice software, and billing across Medicare, My Aged Care, NDIS, DVA, and workers’ compensation.

You will lead day-to-day operations, coordinate communications between staff, patients and health partners, and maintain confidentiality across all records, while

Qualifications

• Experience in professional services, preferably health, including billing for funding types such as Medicare, My Aged Care, NDIS, DVA and workers’ compensation
• Experience with clinical practice management software (e.g. Cliniko) and with HICAPS
• Knowledge of computer systems, e.g. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word and Excel)
• Sound understanding of the Australian health care system and relevant legislation
• Highly desirable: experience training, mentoring or leading reception/administration staff

Responsabilités

• Lead day-to-day operations of reception across multi-site allied health service.
• Ensure friendly and efficient health services across sites.
• Train and support Allied Health reception team to maintain high service standards.
• Manage bookings, billing and invoicing across multiple funding types.
