Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in motel/hotel/hospitality.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Financial management and budgeting experience.
• Familiarity with hospitality software (PMS, Channel Manager, Revenue Management, POS, accounting).
• Current RSA certification and Food Safety Supervisor certificate (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee & train daily operations of motel accommodation, restaurant, café, bar, event/conference space, pool and guest amenities.
• Ensure smooth check-in/check-out processes and maintain reservation systems efficiently.
• Revenue management and business growth.
• Develop, implement and maintain SOPs for all departments to streamline operations and improve consistency across services.
• Monitor property upkeep including cleanliness, safety, maintenance of equipment, grounds and premises.
• Implement security policies/protocols to protect premises and assets.
• Drive guest feedback collection and resolve complaints professionally.
• Manage operational budgets and ensure profitability.
• Ensure compliance with liquor licensing and food safety regulations.
• Promote and coordinate use of events/conference facilities.
• Liaise with clients for planning and delivery of functions.
• Ensure appropriate staffing and service delivery for events.
