GT RESORTS PTY LTD in Wangaratta, Victoria is seeking an experienced Motel Manager to oversee daily operations and uphold high standards of guest service and hospitality management.

You will manage reservations, front desk activities, staffing across reception, housekeeping and maintenance, organise rosters, monitor performance, control costs and contribute to budgeting and profitability.

Qualifications

• Experience in motel/hospitality management is required.
• Strong leadership and staff development skills.
• Ability to manage reservations, billing and front-office tasks.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day motel operations and ensure high guest service standards.
• Manage reservations, arrivals/departures, billing and front-office activities.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff across reception, housekeeping and maintenance.
• Prepare rosters, monitor performance and support a productive workplace.
• Deal with guest inquiries, concerns and complaints professionally.
• Monitor income, expenses and occupancy; assist with budgets and reports.
• Identify ways to improve profitability and control operating costs.
• Coordinate purchases, stock, repairs and maintenance for safe operations.
• Inspect rooms and public areas to maintain cleanliness and service quality.
• Ensure WHS compliance and regulatory obligations; respond to emergencies.
• Oversee events/banquets and assist marketing to increase bookings.
