Job summary

Stanmore Resources Limited in Queensland operates Poitrel Mine and is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead the production team on a 7/7 roster site-based role.

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will manage people and equipment, drive production targets, coach your crew and contribute to safety and continuous improvement across shifts.

Camp accommodation or local housing allowance is available.

Qualifications

• Experience in open cut mining production.
• Proven leadership capability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach and develop a high performing team.
• Experience with MineStar desirable.
• 7/7 roster (day/night shift) presence.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of multi-skilled Operators to safely execute the mine plan.

• Identify and implement improvement opportunities across production activities.
• Work with other departments to optimise performance and outcomes.

We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our Production team at Poitrel Mine. This is a site-based role working a 7/7 roster.

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a crew of multi-skilled Operators to safely execute the mine plan
• Managing people and equipment to deliver production targets
• Providing clear direction, coaching and day-to-day support to your team
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities across production activities
• Working closely with other departments to optimise performance and outcomes
• Maintaining a strong field presence and actively engaging with your crew
• Complying with all site standards, procedures and safety requirements
• Contributing to a safe work environment through active participation in safety processes

• Experience in an open cut mining environment (production)
• Previous leadership experience or demonstrated leadership capability
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lead, coach and develop a high performing team
• Good understanding of systems and processes (experience with MineStar desirable)
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritise work
• 7/7 roster (day/night shift)
