Job summary

Stanmore Resources is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the Poitrel Mine on a 7/7 roster, site-based in Queensland. You will lead a multi-skilled crew to safely execute the mine plan, manage people and equipment to hit production targets, and provide clear direction and coaching to your team.

The role requires experience in open cut mining, strong leadership and communication, and a practical understanding of systems and processes (MineStar desirable).

Qualifications

• Experience in open cut mining (production)
• Strong leadership capability or previous leadership experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach and develop a high performing team
• Understanding of systems and processes; MineStar experience desirable
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise work
• 7/7 roster (day/night shifts)
• Camp accommodation or housing allowance provided

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of multi-skilled operators to safely execute the mine plan
• Manage people and equipment to deliver production targets
• Provide clear direction, coaching and day-to-day support to your team
• Identify and implement improvements across production activities
• Collaborate with other departments to optimise performance
• Maintain a strong field presence and engage with the crew
• Ensure compliance with site standards, procedures and safety requirements
• Contribute to a safe work environment through active safety participation
