Job summary

Stanmore Resources is seeking a Production Supervisor to join the Poitrel Mine on a 7/7 roster, site-based in Queensland. You will lead a multi-skilled crew to safely execute the mine plan, manage people and equipment to hit production targets, and provide clear direction and coaching to your team.

The role requires experience in open cut mining, strong leadership and communication, and a practical understanding of systems and processes (MineStar desirable).

Qualifications

• Experience in open cut mining (production)
• Strong leadership capability or previous leadership experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to coach and develop a high performing team
• Understanding of systems and processes; MineStar experience desirable
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritise work
• 7/7 roster (day/night shifts)

We have an opportunity for a Production Supervisor to join our Production team at Poitrel Mine. This is a site-based role working a 7/7 roster.

Reporting to the Mining Superintendent, you will be responsible for:

• Leading a crew of multi-skilled Operators to safely execute the mine plan
• Managing people and equipment to deliver production targets
• Providing clear direction, coaching and day-to-day support to your team
• Identifying and implementing improvement opportunities across production activities
• Working closely with other departments to optimise performance and outcomes
• Maintaining a strong field presence and actively engaging with your crew
• Complying with all site standards, procedures and safety requirements
• Contributing to a safe work environment through active participation in safety processes
