Job summary

Eriez Magnetics Australia is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth in the Mining sector across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea and Indonesia. You will engage with mining operators, EPCs, OEMs, consultants and channel partners to identify opportunities, influence specifications and convert opportunities into profitable growth.

You will build a robust pipeline, manage long sales cycles, and collaborate with senior stakeholders to win major projects.

Qualifications

• Experience with Mining Companies, EPCs, OEMs, Engineering Consultants or Capital Equipment suppliers is advantageous.
• Proven success in business development, technical sales or account management within Mining, Industrial Processing, Capital Equipment or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and win new business opportunities across the Mining and Extractive Industries.
• Build relationships with mining operators, EPCs, OEMs, consultants and channel partners.
• Develop a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and major project pursuits.
• Grow Eriez's market share and strengthen presence in key mining markets.
• Lead quotations, tenders, and project pursuits from opportunity to close.
• Influence project specifications and position Eriez technologies early in the lifecycle.
• Represent Eriez at customer sites, industry events, and conferences across the region.
• Drive strategic growth initiatives and help shape the future of the Mining business.
