Job summary

Eriez Magnetics Pty Limited in Melbourne seeks a seasoned Business Development Manager to drive mining market growth across Australia and adjoining regions. You will engage with mining companies, EPCs, OEMs and channel partners to identify opportunities and convert them into profitable growth.

You will lead opportunities through complex sales cycles, build a robust pipeline, and influence project specifications early in the lifecycle while representing Eriez at regional events and sites.

Qualifications

• Experience selling into Mining, Mineral Processing, Industrial Processing, Capital Equipment, Engineering Services or related industries.
• Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
• Experience managing major projects, tenders and strategic customer relationships.

Responsibilities

• Identifying and winning new business opportunities across the Mining and Extractive Industries sectors.
• Building relationships with mining operators, EPCs, OEMs, consultants and channel partners.
• Developing a strong pipeline of qualified opportunities and major project pursuits.
• Growing Eriez's market share and strengthening our position within key mining markets.
• Leading quotations, tenders, commercial negotiations and project pursuits from opportunity through to winning them.
• Influencing project specifications and positioning Eriez technologies early in the project lifecycle.
• Representing Eriez at customer sites, industry events, trade shows and conferences throughout the region.
• Driving strategic growth initiatives and helping shape the future direction of the Mining business.
