Job summary

RJV, a Western Australia based civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Project Manager to lead mining division projects. The role starts in Perth, with involvement in business development and tendering for new work, and will rotate to FIFO as projects progress.

Reporting to the General Manager Mining, you will drive project success through stakeholder engagement, effective contract management, and robust cost control. You’ll build high‑performing teams and promote safety across all stages.

Qualifications

• Experience in mining or civil project delivery.
• Strong safety focus with high HSE standards.
• Proven ability to lead and develop teams.
• Excellent planning, technical, organizational and communication skills.
• Commercial and contractual knowledge.
• Data analysis skills.
• Ability to build lasting client and stakeholder relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development and deliver mining projects.
• Leverage mine owner relationships to support tendering and bid submissions.
• Provide strong project leadership and foster high‑performace, safety culture.
• Ensure safety is embedded across all project delivery.
• Act as principal client contact, managing relationships and communications.
• Deliver projects per standards and Project Management Plans, with cost control.
• Manage contracts, claims, variations, EOTs, and subcontracts.
• Plan workforce and develop project teams.
• Promote continuous improvement and sustainable practices.
