Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a growing civil construction team on a permanent full-time FIFO roster in Western Australia. You will support project delivery from planning through to completion, working with an experienced and collaborative team on large-scale civil and mining infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience as Project Engineer or Site Engineer in civil construction/mining/earthworks.
• Experience delivering bulk earthworks, detailed earthworks, pavements, drainage, and services.
• Strong knowledge of project planning, cost control, quality assurance, and reporting.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work effectively within a collaborative project team.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence or ability to obtain one.
• Australian working rights or eligibility for employer sponsorship.
• Willingness to work FIFO 2:1 roster.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects are delivered safely and on schedule.
• Monitor project productivity, costs, and budget performance.
• Plan and schedule construction activities.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project reports.
• Develop Construction Method Statements (CMS), work packs, and project documentation.
• Assist with project estimating, forecasting, and variations.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal project teams.
• Maintain quality assurance and quality control throughout project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and contractual requirements.
• Support project commissioning, handover, and close-out activities.
• Promote continuous improvement and a positive safety culture.
