Job summary

RJV, a Western Australia-based civil engineering contractor, is seeking a Project Manager for mining projects. Initially Perth-based, with strong emphasis on acquiring new work, the role will transition to FIFO for remote mining sites.

You will lead tendering, bid submissions, and project delivery with a focus on safety and stakeholder engagement. You will manage client relationships, drive project success, and ensure adherence to PM Plans, cost controls, and robust contract management, building

• Commercial and contractual knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver mining civil projects, overseeing business development and project execution.
• Leverage relationships with mine owners and stakeholders to support tendering and bid submissions.
• Provide leadership to project teams and foster a high-performance, safety-focused culture.
• Ensure safety is embedded across all project activities and maintain high delivery standards.
• Manage client relationships and maintain clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Deliver projects in line with company standards and Project Management Plans, ensuring cost control and favourable outcomes.
• Oversee contract management including claims, variations, EOTs, and subcontractor relationships.
• Plan workforce and develop project teams aligned with company goals.
• Promote continuous improvement and sustainable work practices across projects.
