Job summary

Chandler Macleod Group is seeking an experienced Senior Account Manager to lead a portfolio of mining customers across Queensland, delivering workforce solutions and commercial outcomes.

You will build strong stakeholder relationships, drive account growth, and oversee safety, industrial relations, and workforce planning with cross-functional teams to ensure service standards and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in Account Management, Workforce Solutions, Recruitment, Labour Hire, or related industry.
• Proven track record of growing customer accounts and delivering commercial outcomes.
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capability.
• Experience working within mining, resources, industrial, or operational environments.
• Knowledge of workforce planning, recruitment, mobilisation, and workforce management.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage key customer relationships across the Queensland mining portfolio.
• Build trusted partnerships with operational, commercial, and leadership stakeholders.
• Identify and secure opportunities to grow workforce demand and expand service offerings.
• Drive job order generation, workforce growth, and account development initiatives.
• Partner with recruitment teams to ensure workforce requirements are fulfilled efficiently and effectively.
• Lead workforce planning discussions and provide proactive workforce solutions.
• Act as the escalation point for customer and workforce-related matters.
• Support employee and industrial relations matters, investigations, performance management, and workforce issues.
• Oversee safety, incident, injury management, and return-to-work processes in partnership with internal stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and support to onsite Workforce Coordinators.
• Ensure contractual obligations, compliance requirements, and service standards are consistently achieved.
