Job summary

Progress Rail is seeking a Voice and Video Conferencing Engineer to support and enhance the Microsoft Teams voice and video collaboration platforms across the organisation. This role focuses on Teams Phone, Teams Rooms, Direct Routing, SBCs, and conferencing technologies to ensure reliable and high-quality communication services.

You will work with internal stakeholders, global IT teams, and external vendors, troubleshooting voice quality issues, supporting incidents, and helping migrate

Qualifications

• Experience as a Voice and Video Conferencing engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams Phone and Teams Rooms.
• Knowledge of Teams Admin Centre, Direct Routing, Auto Attendants, Call Queues, Voice Policies and PowerShell.

Responsibilities

• Maintain voice system availability, performance and resilience.
• Deploy, support and maintain IT standards and technologies.
• Manage, troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly.
• Collaborate with technical teams on projects and BAU activities.
• Install, configure and upgrade systems as required.
• Document incidents, fixes and solutions in the Knowledge Base.
• Prioritise and escalate business-critical issues.
