Job summary
Downer is seeking an experienced VC/Collaboration Engineer to join the Group Technology team in Australia. You will shape the enterprise collaboration environment, lead the design and lifecycle of Teams Rooms, video conferencing and meeting room technologies, and drive standardisation across Australia and New Zealand.
The role involves DevOps-aligned engineering, observability, and AI-enabled collaboration solutions to improve user experience and service reliability.
Qualifications
- 10+ years in enterprise collaboration or workplace technology environments
- Strong experience with Microsoft Teams as an enterprise platform
- Experience with room technologies and lifecycle management
Responsibilities
- Lead design, engineering and lifecycle management of enterprise video collaboration and meeting room tech
- Define standards and deployment models for Teams Rooms and collaboration environments
- Drive Teams-first meeting experiences and platform standardisation
- Provide technical leadership across meeting room platforms, collaboration services and analytics
- Act as senior escalation point for complex collaboration incidents
- Improve room health visibility and observability
