Job summary

Amex Sales Representative – Sydney South is a field-based role reporting to the State Team Leader, targeting small and medium businesses to promote American Express merchant services. You will use self-generated appointments and referrals to win new business and expand the Amex merchant services network.

The position offers a base of $84,569 plus superannuation and uncapped commissions, with regional/interstate travel and comprehensive training.

Qualifications

• Must have a current valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle.
• Sales experience (B2B) highly regarded.
• Confident in handling objections effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
• Ability to build strong relationships with business customers.
• Motivated to achieve targets individually and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Promote and sell American Express merchant services within the allocated territory.
• Engage with small to medium businesses using lead sources including self-generated appointments and referrals.
• Win new business and expand the Amex merchant services network.
• Travel as needed to regional/interstate locations with provided accommodation and meals.
