Job summary

RT Health is seeking a Member Services Consultant for our Sydney CBD contact centre. This full‑time, permanent role offers hybrid work and involves handling member queries on membership, payments and claims by phone with a focus on a positive member experience.

You will join a supportive team, bring prior contact centre or customer service experience, and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication while learning the fund’s products, operations and benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a contact centre or similar environment.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional approach.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to learn the Fund’s products, operations and benefits.
• Promotional sales experience desirable.
• Positive, resilient team player.

Responsibilities

• Assist current and potential members via phone and other channels.
• Resolve member inquiries at first point of contact or within one business day.
• Handle correspondence accurately and promptly.
• Provide high level of professional customer service.
• Participate in training and upskilling as required.
• Maintain knowledge of health insurance legislation and fund benefits.
• Develop and maintain knowledge of the fund’s products, operations, services, rules and benefits.
