Job summary

BK Gym & Swim in Marrickville (Sydney) is seeking enthusiastic Customer Service Officers to join our team. You'll be the heart of our facility, handling reception, memberships, and retail sales, and ensuring a welcoming experience for members, casual users and new visitors.

Responsibilities include delivering first-class service, cash handling with POS systems, explaining membership options, processing bookings and enrollments, and maintaining positive relations with customers.

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly and energetic work style.
• Computer literacy and familiarity with software packages.
• Experience in the leisure industry is desirable.
• Current First Aid Certificate (Workplace Level 2).
• Current CPR Certificate.
• Police Check required.
• Working with Children Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers, in person and over the phone.
• Apply sound cash handling principles and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Provide information about memberships and sell memberships when joining or renewing.
• Promote centre services and accept bookings and enrolments.
• Develop and maintain good working relations with customers.
• Promote and exercise good public relations at all times.
• Open/close the centre in accordance with security and safety procedures.
