Job summary

BK Gym & Swim Marrickville is seeking a Customer Service Officer to handle reception, sales and merchandising duties for members, casual users and prospective members. You will work within established procedures to deliver first‑class customer services aligned with our mission and values.

The role focuses on welcoming customers, promoting programs, processing memberships, and maintaining strong customer relationships in a friendly, energetic environment.

Qualifications

• Provide excellent customer service to all customers, in person and over the phone.
• Cash handling and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Provide members with information and sell memberships when joining or renewing.
• Promote centre services and accept bookings/enrolments.
• Develop and maintain good customer relations.
• Promote good public relations at all times.
• Opening/closing the centre per security and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Apply sound cash handling principals and use of Point of Sale (POS) systems.
