Job summary

The Commons in NSW is seeking a proactive Community Associate to foster a thriving member community and smooth operations. You will welcome members, assist with events, and manage admin tasks to ensure a warm, productive space.

You’ll collaborate with the Community Manager, build external relationships, and help deliver outstanding member experiences in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at The Commons.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Strong relationship-building skills.
• Experience with administration and operations.
• Proactive with initiative and problem-solving.
• Adaptable and eager to learn.
• Ability to navigate change.
• Familiarity with G-Suite, Canva and Slack.

Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests at front desk with excellent service.
• Anticipate member needs to enhance their experience.
• Facilitate introductions and engagement through relationships.
• Onboard members and companies within the space.
• Manage onboarding tours, inductions and welcome packs.
• Address member issues or escalate to Community Manager.
• Support daily scheduling, emails, and inquiries.
• Assist with events setup and wrap-up.
• Maintain databases of members, companies, contractors, suppliers.
• Maintain workspace presentation and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with cleaning staff and stock management.
