Job summary

The Commons in Melbourne seeks a proactive Community Associate to enhance member experience, manage front desk interactions, and support events. You will collaborate with the Community Manager to onboard members, coordinate activities, and maintain space operations with high attention to detail.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in customer service, strong communication skills, and a knack for building relationships within a vibrant community. A collaborative, can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong relationship building and rapport with others.
• Initiate contact easily with new people.
• Experience in administration or operations is a plus.
• Good initiative, problem solving, and adaptability.
• Ability to navigate change effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manage community engagement and member experience at front desk and during events.
• Support onboarding of members and companies; assist tours and inductions.
• Help coordinate weekly events and member breakfasts, Friday drinks.
• Assist with daily operations, IT tickets, and data upkeep.
• Maintain member and supplier databases; ensure workspace readiness.
• Collaborate with Community Manager on member changes and issues.
