Job summary

Live Nation Melbourne is seeking a strategic Head of Ticketing to lead the Ticketing Operations function across tours, ensuring best-practice standards for inventory, pricing, and data-driven decisions. You will mentor Ticketing Managers and Coordinators and own end-to-end ticketing for select tours.

You will monitor sales, optimise availability, collaborate with agencies and venues, and partner with internal teams to deliver integrated ticketing outcomes in a fast-paced live events environment.

• Proven experience in ticketing operations, including strategy and delivery.
• Strong leadership to guide a high-performing team.
• Excellent organisation across multiple tours and events.
• Clear communication with senior promoters, agents and stakeholders.
• Capability to develop revenue optimisation and strategic initiatives.
• Maintains composure in fast-moving, high-stakes environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and develop Ticketing Managers and Coordinators.
• Balance workloads and plan resources across tours and events.
• Oversee event builds, inventory, onsale readiness, QA and post-tour reviews.
• Own end-to-end ticketing for allocated tours.
• Monitor sales and inventory and drive revenue opportunities.
• Deliver sales reporting, analysis and settlement documentation.
• Build relationships with ticketing agencies, venues, promoters and sponsors.
• Partner with Production, Partnerships, Marketing, Finance and Venue teams.
