Our hand surgery practice is looking for a dedicated and skilled individual, to join our medical practice as a Part Time Medical Secretary.
Dr Sarah Yong is an orthopaedic hand and wrist surgeon, who is committed to optimising the patient experience from the first contact to discharge. We are seeking a medical secretary to help increase efficiencies, and work towards building a bigger and better, more comprehensive service. The practice is located in Kogarah, but there is flexibility for work from home arrangements on non-clinic days.
As a warm, kind and engaging person, patients will come to rely on you, and trust that they will be in good hands. This position would suit someone who is experienced, self‑motivated, customer service‑oriented and is an excellent communicator in written and verbal forms. You will work with Dr Yong, and her team, and liaise with allied health, hand therapists, as well as other specialists. We are looking for someone who treats this practice as their own.
The most important requirement is a growth mindset. We would like someone with vision, drive and a desire to best deliver a service that patients love and trust, who works well within a team and is constantly looking towards improvement of self, workspace and beyond. Three days (Wednesday to Friday), with scope to increase to full‑time
Hours: 8:30am – 5:00pm (with a 30‑minute unpaid lunch break).
