Job summary

Belgian Gardens Medical Centre in Townsville is seeking a casual medical receptionist to join our welcoming front desk team. You’ll be the friendly face patients see first, handle calls, appointments and payments with care.

Located in the Belgian Gardens Health Hub, Townsville, our team values organisation, discretion and a calm approach when busy. Prior experience with medical software like Best Practice or PRODA is preferred but not essential.

• Reliable and approachable with a friendly phone manner.
• Strong organisational and data-entry skills.

• Flexibility to cover shifts and leave.

We are looking for a reliable, approachable casual medical receptionist, who can make patients feel welcome while keeping a busy reception desk running smoothly.

Your day could include:

• Answering calls and managing appointments
• Welcoming patients and updating their details
• Processing payments and Medicare claims
• Supporting our doctors, nurses and reception team

We would love someone who brings:

Preferred but not essential experience in Best Practice, HotDoc, Cubiko and PRODA.
