Job summary

MyLocalDoc is looking for a casual Medical Receptionist to support two coastal clinics in Caloundra and Maleny. You will warmly welcome patients, manage appointments and inquiries, and help keep daily operations running smoothly across both sites.

Ideal candidates bring proven medical reception experience, strong communication, and a friendly, empathetic approach. Availability for Thursdays and Fridays is required, with additional cover shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a medical receptionist in general practice.
• Availability to work Thursdays in Caloundra and Fridays in Maleny.
• Friendly, empathetic approach to patients.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a busy practice.
• Reliable, with initiative and teamwork.
• Understanding of patient privacy and confidentiality.
• Experience with Best Practice software (preferred).

• Thursdays at our Caloundra clinic
• Fridays at our Maleny clinic
• Additional shifts to cover leave, as opportunities arise.
