IPN Medical Centres is seeking a permanent full-time Medical Receptionist for Barton General Practice in Canberra. The role involves greeting patients, triaging calls, booking appointments and handling patient billing while delivering exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Medical receptionist experience preferred.
• Ability to develop quality working relationships.
• Exceptional customer service, data entry and communication skills.
• Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills.
• Experience using Best Practice or other practice management software is highly desirable.

About the role

IPN'sReceptionists provide a high standard of customer service and administration to patients and Doctors. Supportingthe successful running of the centre the role includes:

Greeting patients, answering telephone calls, patient triage and booking patient appointments

Patient billing and payment collection

Working as part of ateam supporting the Practice Manager

Skills & experience

Medical receptionist experiencepreferred

Ability to developqualityworking relationships
