Job summary

IPN Medical Centres is looking for a casual receptionist at Upper Mountains Medical Centre in Katoomba. The role involves greeting patients, answering calls, triaging, scheduling, scanning documents, managing emails, and handling patient billing.

You will work as part of a friendly team supporting the Practice Manager in daily operations. Prior medical receptionist experience is valued; strong data entry and communication skills are essential.

• Experience with practice management software is desirable

About the role

IPN'sReceptionists provide a high standard of customer service and administration to patients and Doctors. Supportingthe successful running of the centre the role includes:

• Greeting patients, answering telephone calls, patient triage and booking patient appointments
• Document scanning and email management
• Patient billing and payment collection
• Working as part of ateam supporting the Practice Manager

Skills & experience

• Medical receptionist experience (highly regarded but not essential)
• Strong proficiency in, or ability to quickly pick up document scanning processes.
• Ability to developqualityworking relationships and work in a busy team environment
• Exceptional customer service,data entryand communication skills
• Proven multi-tasking, problem solving and time management skills
• Experience usingBest Practice or other practice management software (highly desirable but not essential)
