A global paints & coatings manufacturer is seeking an Account Manager to service NSW and distributor partners in a flexible, field-based role. You will blend account management with technical support and commercial development to drive growth.

The role involves regular customer visits, training and collaboration with internal teams to deliver outstanding outcomes for boat builders and retailers across NSW.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, territory management or technical B2B sales.
• Background in chemicals, coatings, industrial products, manufacturing or related sectors.
• Marine industry exposure is highly regarded but is not essential.
• Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to develop long-term customer partnerships.
• Comfortable managing distributor networks and engaging a variety of stakeholders.
• Confident discussing technical products and applications with customers.
• Commercially minded, proactive and capable of working autonomously.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a consultative approach to sales.

Responsibilities

• Manage and develop existing customer and distributor relationships across NSW.
• Provide technical product advice and support to marine industry customers.
• Conduct regular customer visits and territory management activities.
• Work closely with distributors to drive engagement, sales growth and product adoption.
• Identify opportunities to expand business within existing accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with boat builders, maintenance yards, retailers and trade resellers.
• Support customer training, product demonstrations and technical discussions.
• Collaborate with internal technical and support teams to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
