Job summary

AkzoNobel is seeking an Account Manager for Yacht Coatings based in Sydney. You will manage relationships across Sydney, Northern New South Wales and Fiji, promoting Awlgrip, International and Sea Hawk brands. This field role offers autonomy with support from technical, marketing and customer service teams.

You’ll travel within the territory, build new opportunities, and provide product demonstrations while growing brand presence in the marine market.

Qualifications

• Experience in account management, business development or similar customer-focused role.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel within the territory including Fiji.
• Interest in yacht coatings and applications.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted, long-term relationships with existing customers.
• Identify and develop new customers and business opportunities.
• Work with distributors and retailers to increase sales and visibility.
• Provide product information and practical solutions to customers.
• Coordinate product demonstrations and training.
• Support expansion of the Awlgrix colour-mixing network.
• Monitor territory performance and achieve sales targets.
• Represent brands at events and boat shows.
• Provide feedback on market needs and competitors.
• Maintain CRM data accurately.
