Job summary

Coates in Ballina, NSW seeks an Account Manager to develop and manage relationships with a portfolio of construction and civil customers. You will act as the primary commercial contact, driving retention, account growth and customer satisfaction.

Based out of the Ballina branch with regular regional travel, you will coordinate with internal teams to deliver on commitments and maintain updated CRM records, supporting Coates' growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience managing B2B customer relationships, accounts or service portfolios.
• Strong CRM skills and disciplined data maintenance are essential.
• Ability to negotiate, influence and resolve issues with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of customers across the full account relationship, including onboarding, day-to-day service, retention, account development and growth.
• Become the primary commercial contact for your customers and build trusted, long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Map and engage stakeholders across customer organisations to understand their operations, priorities and future requirements.
• Develop and maintain account plans that identify customer needs, risks, opportunities and agreed actions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records, including contacts, plans, activities, opportunities and quotes.
• Coordinate with internal teams to deliver on customer requirements and resolve issues.
