Job summary

Empire Group is seeking a Maintenance Support Officer to provide frontline customer service and admin support for SEQ customers. The role operates in a high-volume call centre, handling calls and emails, recording information, and supporting responsive government property maintenance services.

Two positions are available, with an ASAP start. Initial contract to 19/01/2027 with a strong likelihood of ongoing work. Competitive hourly rate plus superannuation in Brisbane, QLD.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a call centre or high-volume customer service environment.
• Experience within construction, insurance repairs or property maintenance knowledge is advantageous.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Proven ability to resolve customer enquiries and complaints professionally.
• Excellent data entry and administrative skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
• Sound computer literacy and experience using multiple systems simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Arrange responsive maintenance for Government owned properties across SEQ.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls to answer enquiries and provide updates.
• Raise work orders and liaise with customers, trades and suppliers.
• Deliver high-quality customer service by responding to enquiries and resolving issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and stakeholders to support service delivery.
• Handle high call volumes while meeting performance targets and standards.
• Provide general administrative support, including data entry, record management and reporting.
