Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. in Queensland, Australia, is seeking a Maintenance Officer to perform on-site maintenance across the resort, ensuring day-to-day functionality and asset protection.

You will handle basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance and electrical repairs, participate in preventative maintenance, and collaborate with housekeeping and resort management to minimise guest disruption while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, appliance and electrical repairs.

Responsibilities

• Performs apartment and room maintenance checks and repairs.
• Participate as a member of the Maintenance Team to ensure productivity and efficiency.
• Carry out preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Assist in managing asset register and stock.
• Cooperate with Housekeeping, Resort Management, Front Office and F&B to minimise guest disruption.
