Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Officer for our Torquay resort in Australia. You will manage day-to-day maintenance, care for rooms and amenities, and support grounds and garden upkeep, ensuring safe and high-quality guest experiences.

You will also handle inventories, equipment maintenance, and the resort's preventative maintenance program, while completing department paperwork and assisting with occasional housekeeping tasks as required.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance role within a resort or hospitality environment.
• Solid understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to interact politely with owners and guests and work on a flexible roster.

How You’ll Shine

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for the day to day operation of the maintenance department, including maintaining all resort rooms and amenities, maintaining inventories, caring for equipment and performing the resort preventative maintenance program and completing all department related paperwork.

This role will also be responsible for maintaining the resort grounds and gardens and assisting with some housekeeping duties as required.
