Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Officer to oversee daily operations of the maintenance department at our Torquay resort. You will maintain resort rooms and amenities, manage inventories, and support grounds and gardens upkeep.

In this role you’ll handle preventative maintenance, complete related paperwork, and assist with housekeeping tasks as required. A flexible roster including weekends and holidays is expected, with a focus on safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a maintenance role is desirable.
• Understanding of basic Occupational Health & Safety principles.
• Ability to manage grounds and garden tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Polite and friendly interaction with owners and guests.
• Ability to work a flexible roster, including weekends and holidays.

How You’ll Shine

The Maintenance Officer is responsible for the day to day operation of the maintenance department, including maintaining all resort rooms and amenities, maintaining inventories, caring for equipment and performing the resort preventative maintenance program and completing all department related paperwork. This role will also be responsible for maintaining the resort grounds and gardens and assisting with some housekeeping duties as required.
