Job summary

Commonwealth Bank in Mackay is seeking a part-time Customer Banking Specialist for the Mackay Branch at Caneland Shopping Centre. The role is 22 hours per week, scheduled Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:30am to 3:30pm, with a contract until December 2027.

You will be the public face of CommBank, greeting customers, understanding their needs, and guiding them to the right banking channel while showcasing in-branch and digital options.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of delivering excellent Customer Service, ideally in Financial Services, Retail or Hospitality.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanour.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and understand their enquiry, guiding to the appropriate channel.
• Build personal connection with customers through meaningful conversations to enhance their experience.
• Educate customers and demonstrate in-branch technology and digital banking options.
• Support branch movements to ensure the branch runs smoothly and customers are satisfied.
