Job summary

Vehicle Development Corporation – Coolaroo VIC is seeking an Assistant Service Advisor to join our team in Melbourne. You will coordinate Service Bookings and Pre-Delivery of New Vehicles, handle warranty claims and participate in service and parts enquiries with follow-up.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, advanced computer skills, dealership experience, and a valid Australian manual driver’s licence.

Qualifications

• Advanced computer skills required.
• Dealership experience preferred.
• Valid Australian manual driver’s licence required.
• Strong multitasking ability and time management.
• Ability to build relationships with service team and management.
• Strong communication and ownership of the customer journey.
• Technical knowledge in high‑end vehicles advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Service Bookings and Pre-Delivery of New Vehicles.
• Handle Warranty Claims from New Vehicle Customers.
• Participate in Service and Parts Enquiries and follow up.
• Sell Retail Parts and Servicing.
• Create, cost and close repair orders.
• Liaise with Admin Staff and Production Staff.
• Liaise with Senior Mechanic regarding Service Enquiries and Warranty Claims.
• Inspect Incoming New Vehicles.
• Final Inspection of vehicles prior to delivery.
• Maintain good working relationships with all departments.
• Provide reporting as required.
