Talent Solution Partners Pty Ltd is seeking an Operations Manager for Westfield Sydney to own store operations, inventory control and leadership of a large team.

Based at the Westfield Sydney store, you will partner with the Store Director to ensure efficient operations, controlled stock flow and an exceptional customer experience as the store opens on 13 November, with a core team of ~65 plus seasonal staff.

Qualifications

• Strong retail operations leadership in a high-volume environment.
• Experience managing inventory, stock flow and back-of-house ops.
• Proven people management experience with large or complex teams.
• Knowledge of retail systems, processes and KPIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead overall store operations, inventory management and back-of-house execution.
• Oversee stock processing, deliveries, replenishment and inventory flow.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes and RFID scanning.
• Investigate shrinkage and implement stock control improvements.

• Improve processes, productivity and efficiencies.
• Partner with Store Director on labour planning, scheduling and performance.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Based at Westfield Sydney, you'll take ownership of the operational side of a major retail store.

The store's leadership structure has been expanded into dedicated Operations and Visual leadership roles to support the scale of the business, the team and the demands of the store.

You'll partner closely with the Store Director and fellow leaders to ensure the store runs efficiently, inventory is controlled and the customer experience remains exceptional.

The store is scheduled to open on 13 November, with a core team of approximately 65 people plus seasonal team members.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

• Lead overall store operations, inventory management and back-of-house execution.
• Oversee stock processing, deliveries, replenishment and inventory flow.
• Drive inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stocktakes and RFID scanning.
• Investigate shrinkage and implement improvements to stock control.
• Manage high product volumes and streamline operational workflows.
• Lead, coach and develop the Operations team.
• Improve processes, productivity and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with the Store Director on labour planning, scheduling and business performance.
• Collaborate with Visual and Sales & Service leaders to support seamless store execution.

ABOUT YOU

• Strong retail operations leadership experience in a high-volume environment.
• Experience managing inventory, stock flow, shrinkage and back-of-house operations.
• Proven people management experience, ideally leading large or complex teams.
• Strong understanding of retail systems, processes and operational KPIs.
• A track record of improving efficiencies and solving operational challenges.
• Confidence using data to drive decisions and performance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Flexibility for a retail leadership roster, including weekends, early starts and occasional late finishes.
• Luxury or premium retail experience is highly desirable, particularly in a store with significant product volumes and a large team.
