On behalf of our client, a globally recognised luxury fashion house, we are excited to be partnering with them to appoint an accomplished Department Manager for their prestigious Westfield Sydney boutique.

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced luxury retail professional to join one of the world’s most desirable and influential fashion brands, playing a key leadership role within a high‑profile Sydney location.

We are seeking a commercially driven and inspirational retail leader who understands what it takes to deliver exceptional client experiences while driving strong sales performance and developing a high‑performing team.

As Department Manager, you will work closely with the Boutique Director to lead the day‑to‑day operation of your department, maximise commercial opportunities and ensure the highest standards of client experience, visual presentation and operational excellence.

You will be passionate about luxury, possess strong product knowledge and have a natural ability to build meaningful relationships with clients. Just as importantly, you will be an engaging people leader who enjoys coaching and developing others and creating a positive, energetic and performance‑focused team culture.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

• Proven experience in a senior retail leadership or department management role, ideally within luxury or premium fashion
• Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated ability to achieve and exceed sales targets and KPIs
• Exceptional clienteling and relationship‑building skills, with a genuine focus on developing a loyal and engaged client base
• Experience driving client development initiatives and delivering personalised, high‑touch customer experiences
• Strong people leadership capability, including coaching, performance management and team development
• Ability to motivate and inspire a team while maintaining a positive and collaborative culture
• Excellent knowledge of luxury fashion, ideally across Womens and Mens RTW, leather goods and accessories
• Strong operational understanding, with the ability to maintain exceptional boutique standards
• Highly organised, adaptable and solutions‑focused, with the confidence to work in a fast‑paced luxury retail environment
• A polished and professional presentation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
