Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Melbourne is seeking a dedicated Night Manager to lead overnight operations across Front Office and related hotel functions. You will represent the property overnight, manage late arrivals and early departures, and ensure nightly audit reconciliation with the Finance team.

Ideal candidates have Front Office management experience in a 5-star hotel, familiarity with OPERA, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a valid Driver's License with RSA/First Aid

Qualifications

• Front Office management experience in a 5-star hotel; Marriott experience preferred.
• Experience with OPERA Property Management System or similar.
• Strong problem-solving and guest-focused communication.
• Ability to give constructive feedback to the team.
• Valid Driver's License and RSA/First Aid certifications.
• Australian working rights; luxury hotel background advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee night operations across Front Office and related hotel areas.
• Represent property overnight; address guest and operational concerns with professionalism.
• Handle late arrivals, early departures, and daily audit reconciliation with Finance.
• Monitor staff performance and ensure policy compliance and service standards.
• Resolve guest complaints promptly and drive KPI achievement.
• Manage inventory, safety protocols, and cash handling; minimize losses.
• Collaborate with leadership on corrective actions for profitability.
