Job summary

Pullman Adelaide, part of Accor’s premium portfolio, seeks a Director of Operations to oversee day-to-day hotel performance across Rooms, F&B, Housekeeping and Engineering. This hands-on leader will drive guest experiences, profitability and brand standards in a 5-star environment.

The role requires engaging leadership, a strong focus on service excellence, and the ability to coach a high-performing team within a large hotel operation.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Hotel Management or equivalent.
• Proven leadership experience in upscale or luxury hotel operations.
• Experience managing multiple departments (Rooms, F&B, Housekeeping, Engineering).
• Strong communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day hotel operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Provide visible leadership across all core departments (F&B, Rooms, Housekeeping, Engineering).
• Collaborate with Department Heads to meet operational, financial and guest-satisfaction goals.
• Drive productivity, profitability and revenue through strategic planning and execution.
• Maintain high standards of quality, presentation, compliance and brand excellence.
• Support guest recovery and make informed operational decisions with professionalism.
• Coach and develop leaders to build a high-performing team culture.
• Champion workplace health, safety, risk management and compliance.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and business performance.
