Job summary

Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is seeking a Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our Luxury F&B Leadership Team. You will oversee The Backyard, The Kiosk, Pool Bar, and Conference & Events to deliver five-star service and memorable guest experiences.

We value professionalism, RSA certification, Australian work rights, and a flexible shift roster. You will lead daily service, maintain F&B standards, manage staff appearance, handle guest feedback, and support a positive, premium guest

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Team Leader or in a leadership role.
Valid RSA certificate or equivalent
Valid working rights in Australia
Flexibility to work Morning, Afternoon and Evening Shifts including weekends and public holidays
Experience in processing payments and handling cash and card transactions
Restaurant A La Carte experience

Responsibilities

Lead F&B outlets (Backyard, Kiosk, Pool Bar, Conferences and Events) to maximise guest satisfaction.
Oversee daily shift opening and closing with Supervisors/Managers.
Ensure F&B policies and procedures are followed and presentation standards are maintained.
Maintain professional appearance and standards per Shangri-La guidelines.
Monitor operations for quality and cleanliness across all appointed sections.
Gather customer feedback and address issues with appropriate follow-up.
