Job summary

Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is seeking an experienced Luxury Corporate Sales Manager to join our Sales & Marketing team. You will drive corporate, government and MICE business, cultivate strategic accounts and lead tailored proposals to secure new opportunities.

You will manage an established client portfolio, collaborate with Revenue, Reservations, C&E and Operations, and travel to client sites and events as needed to grow market share and revenue.

Qualifications

• Experience in Corporate Sales within a luxury hotel or premium hospitality.
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of corporate travel, government and MICE markets.
• Exceptional networking, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive and self-motivated with excellent time management.
• Ability to analyse market trends and identify commercial opportunities.
• Experience using hotel sales systems and CRM platforms; Opera knowledge is advantageous.
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel for sales activities.

Responsibilities

• Identify and secure new corporate accounts and business opportunities.
• Grow a portfolio of corporate, government and key industry clients.
• Conduct sales calls, networking, client entertainment and familiarisation visits.
• Prepare tailored proposals, contracts and rate negotiations.
• Represent the hotel at trade shows, industry events and business networking functions.
• Develop strategic account plans to maximise revenue opportunities.
• Collaborate with Revenue, Reservations, C&E and Operations to deliver seamless client experiences.
• Maintain accurate sales activity, forecasting and reporting in CRM.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual revenue targets.
