Shangri-La the Marina, Cairns is seeking enthusiastic and service-focused Food & Beverage Attendants to join our luxury five-star hotel team.

You will deliver attentive and personalised service across our outlets and events, ensuring operations run smoothly and guest interactions are memorable.

Qualifications

• Previous Food & Beverage or hospitality experience is desirable, but not essential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive, friendly and professional attitude.
• Strong attention to detail and personal presentation.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a diverse team.
• Willingness to learn and develop hospitality skills.
• Flexibility to work across shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Providing warm, friendly and professional service to all guests.
• Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
• Serving food and beverages in accordance with hotel standards.
• Preparing and setting up restaurants, bars, function spaces and other Food & Beverage areas.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and presentation.
• Assisting with functions, events and other hotel Food & Beverage operations.
• Maintaining knowledge of our food and beverage offerings.
• Responding to guest requests and enquiries in a professional and timely manner.
• Working closely with colleagues and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Following all hotel policies, procedures and Food & Beverage standards.
