Optiver in Sydney is seeking a Software Developer Intern to work with our engineers on latency-sensitive trading systems. You’ll build and test low-latency components and see live results within the day.

Qualifications

• Penultimate-year student in CS or related field.
• Australian/New Zealand citizen or eligible to work in Australia.
• Experience with C++, Java or Python for technical assessment.

Responsibilities

• Join a fast-paced, latency-sensitive development team and contribute to low-latency components.
• Develop, test and deploy features in production with a tight feedback loop.
• Participate in workshops, mentorships and trader training to understand the business domain.
